In order to celebrate the Canada Day, the LINC classmates of MicroSkills organized a field trip to Toronto Centre Island. Before the journey, I did some homework, including research the information of the island and the schedule of the public transport.

On the morning of 30 June, I took the TTC 17 to the Warden Subway Station, then exchanged Line 1  and  line 2 at Younge and Bloor stop to Union station. Due to the good weather and short distance, I choose on foot to Ferry Terminal.

At the Ferry Terminal, I met a lot of classmates. They were waiting others so they can buy a group tickets at a 10% discount. I did not find any friends so I buy a ticket that costed me 7.5 dollar. After the persons is on board, the boat driven toward the island. The air is a little cold and fresh, some kids are so excited that they yelling and running on the board. The sheep is arrived at 20 minutes after beginning. The teacher, Joseph, has been waiting for us at the island. When the most classmates arrived, we took a group photo and visit the island separately. We ate some delicious food,  play soccer and have a trial along the island. Some beaches is attractive but only have a little people on the beach because it is on the noon and the sun is very strong. Some people take bicycles and sit on the tourism ship instead of walking to visit the beautiful views of the island.

After spending 3 hours, we took the return trip to Toronto. I have never seen the CN tower and other buildings from other angle. The impression is totally different.

This field trip is very interesting because we have learned how to organize a trip, enjoyed the beautiful view of Toronto, and shared the delicious food and valuable time.
